MCCAFFERY President
Trudy McCaffery founded KTTC in 1999. She is an accomplished
equestrian who with partner John Toffan has bred
and raced Thoroughbreds of national prominence. Past runners
include Free House, Bien Bien, Mane Minister, Pacific Squall,
Nice Assay, Visible Gold, and Hollycombe.
BING
I. BUSH, JR.
Vice President/General Counsel
Bing I. Bush, Jr. grew up in Lexington, Kentucky and naturally,
worked with horses. He currently has offices in San Diego, CA
and Lexington, KY under the firm name Law Offices of Bing I.

JOHN
DE SANTIS Secretary/Executive Director
A native of Philadelphia, PA, Johnny D. is a graduate of Occidental
College in Los Angeles, CA, who has worked in Thoroughbred racing
since 1979 in various capacities: racing official, publicity
writer, and jockey agent. He has also worked as a freelance
writer, television and radio personality, and industry consultant.
He has been with KTTC since its inception.
CATON
METZLER BREDAR Treasurer
Caton Metzler Bredar is a well-known racing analyst and handicapper with extensive media experience. She covers racing events nationwide for TVG, CBS Sports and Fox Sports Net.Ý
CHRIS
MCCARRON Director
Jockey Chris McCarron, was elected to racing's Hall of Fame
in 1989. He twice won the Kentucky Derby winner, with Alysheba
in 1987 and Go For Gin in 1994. He and wife Judy have three
daughters Erin, Stephanie and Kristin.
JANE
GOLDSTEIN Director
Jane Goldstein was Director of Publicity and Communications
at Santa Anita Park for 22 years and before that worked on the
publicity staffs of tracks including the New Orleans Fair Grounds,
Laurel, Pimlico, Monmouth Park, Hialeah, Keeneland and Churchill
Downs. At the 1984 Olympic Games, she was Venue Press Chief
for equestrian sports presented at Santa Anita and Rancho Santa
Fe. As a free-lancer, she has written for Daily Racing Form,
the Blood-Horse, California Thoroughbred, World Book Year Book
and many other publications in the U.S. and England. She is
associate editor of Paddock Magazine.

DIANA
MCCLURE Director
A native Virginian who grew up in Fauquier County, Diana showed
ponies and horses at the major "A" shows as a junior
and, as a teenager, galloped racehorses, broke yearlings and
pinhooked two year olds. After graduation from Virginia Polytechnic
Institute and State University, Diana trained a public stable
in New Jersey for several years. She returned to Virginia in
1988 to continue training. She and her husband, Michael Cooney,
train and ride in a mix of flat and steeplechase horses and
break yearlings at the facility near the Middleburg Training
Center. Diana is a member of the Virginia HBPA and founder and
coordinator of "KTTC at Colonial Downs" program.

JEREMY
CLEMONS Director
Jeremy Clemons currently works in the Corporate Marketing Department
of one the industry's leading racing organizations, Churchill
Downs, Inc. A graduate of the University of Louisville's Equine
Administration Program, his prior industry experience includes
working as the Marketing and Publicity Director of the California
Thoroughbred Breeders Association.
LUCINDA
MANDELLA Director
Lucinda Mandella is a native of Tuscon, AZ and graduated from
the Race Track Industry Program at the University of Arizona.
She joined the staff at Thoroughbred Owners of California directly
after college and has been with them for five years. She currently
serves as TOC's Owner Liason and Coordinator of the Continuing
Education Program. Additionally she handles New Owner Promotions
and assists owners on a daily basis at all live Southern California
race meets. She is married to trainer Gary Mandella and resides
in Pasadena.
WILL
SCHWARTZ Director
Will Schwartz is co-owner of Intech Construction Company, a
$150 million dollar General Contractor and Construction Management
firm that has recently been listed as the seventh largest contractor
in the Philadelphia region. He is a graduate of M.I.T. and a
Thoroughbred owner and breeder. Schwartz is married with two
children and has been a loyal supporter of KTTC since it began.
Cathy
Riccio Director
Cathy Riccio
originally worked as a file clerk in a law office when she decided
that four walls could not contain her. She ventured out to Belmont
Park where she landed her first job walking horses for trainer
David Whitely. After several years with Whitely, Cathy joined
the New York Racing Association's publicity department and also
served as an attendant at the track gap in the mornings. From
there she returned to the backstretch to work with horses as
an assistant trainer to Bill Hirsch, Jr., William Mott, David
Carroll and Scotty Schulhofer. After a brief stint training
on her own she then moved to California to work as assistant
trainer to Paco Gonzalez. She also worked part-time in the Santa
Anita Broadcast Center as a member of Amy Zimmerman's staff.
When HorseRacing TV began production in 2002 Cathy worked
as a graphics operator and recently relocated to Kentucky where
she continues to work with horses. As you can see Cathy brings
a wealth of coast-to-coast racing knowledge to the board of
directors for Kids to the Cup.
