Vindication
is a two-year old colt by Seattle Slew and out of Grade 3 winner
Strawberry Reason. He is trained by star trainer Bob Baffert.
He was purchased as a yearling by Satish Sanan for $2,150,000.
He won his first race on July 27, 2002. The race was at Del
Mar and was a six-furlong
maiden special weight. He won by 5 1/2 lengths. He has plans
to go to the Del Mar Futurity, which trainer Bob Baffert has
won for the past six years.
