At various times throughout the year KTTC honors an outstanding member with the Member of the Month Award. This honor goes to a member of the organization who has performed distinguished work in the field of Thoroughbred racing. The honoree receives a commemorative plaque from KTTC and is archived on the KTTC web site as an example of racing's talented young fans.

KTTC Member of the Month May 2004

Stephanie Slinger planned, organized and presented a program on Kids to the Cup at the recently concluded Equine Affaire in Ohio. She contacted Kids to the Cup and the event sponsors with a well-conceived plan and made that plan a reality with the help of KTTC member Amelia Baldree. At Equine Affaire, Stephanie constructed and manned a booth, entertained visitors and delivered a presentation to the entire audience. Her account and photos of Equine Affaire are posted here.
