KENTUCKY DERBY '06 ROAD TRIP

KTTC members, alums and parents are invited to join the group at this year's Kentucky Derby for a fun and educational Friday (Kentucky Oaks) and Saturday (Kentucky Derby) at the races.

Dates:

  • Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May 6, 2006

Time:

  • Kids to the Cup members and parents will meet at around 7 a.m. Friday morning to attend morning workouts on the backstretch at Churchill Downs.

Where:

  • Churchill Downs, Louisville, KY

What:

  • Watch morning workouts.
  • Tour the Churchill Downs barn area to meet Kentucky Derby trainers, owners, horses and other racing stars.
  • Spend Friday and Saturday afternoons at the races. Kids to the Cup members and parents enjoy general admission to the races on both days.
  • Join fellow KTTC members and friends for dinner at John E's Restaurant Friday night.

Cost:

  • Events are Free to KTTC members and parents.
  • Donations accepted.

  • E-mail racingman@netzero.net to sign up. Include member First and Last Name, Address, Telephone Number, e-mail address and name of parent or guardian.

Deadline:

  • Sign up for the KentuckyDerby Road Trip by Sunday, April 23.
  • Space is limited, so act now.

KTTC's 7th Annual Triple Crown Essay Competition

  • Winners earn two seats (member and parent or guardian) to one of three Triple Crown races: Kentucky Derby, Preakness or Belmont.
